内容	SureM is announcing the policy regarding advertisement SMS established by M.I.C (the Ministry of Information and Communication), which states that it is prohibited to send unauthorized advertisement SMS from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM the day after, which will be enforced starting from December 15th of 2003. In order to prevent any inconveniences caused, please follow the directions above written. Follow is a related news report. - Financial News (2003-12-10) - [ From coming this 15th day, the government strongly forbids to send advertisement SMS without the approval from the users. Not only, it is also prohibited to send such messages from 9:00 PM to following day morning 8:00. The Ministry of Information and Communication has fully established monitoring system for Information Communication Ethics Committee, and has finished making amendments in the Terms of Use of the Tel. Co.s. Hereupon, in order to send advertisement SMS the advertiser must get approval from the end-users that they agree to receive such content. If detected for more than twice when advertisement SMS has been sent to those who did not agree in beforehand, the service will be shut. Even if advertiser acquires the approval from the end-users, it is prohibited to send advertisement SMS from 9:00 PM to following day’s 8:00 AM for the purpose of privacy protection. Furthermore, adult services such as phone meeting(030, 060) could be shut down right away if caught providing adult contents imprudently. In order to enforce this law strictly M.I.C has developed phone call-recording system and will be starting to monitor the system starting from 15th of this month. M.I.C announced to start monitoring those who have 1588, 080 numbers that transmits adult contents, which contradicts the purpose of the numbers given. - Financial News (2003/12/10) -
